If it could go wrong it did in terms of making this video. My "Radio/TV" degree was really put to the test after dealing with a crashed computer and a hard drive that was about to blow so excuse the fact that I should have posted this a month ago. This 7 minute video took 2 1/2 days to upload online and I seriously didn't need this extra stress that only 5 people were going to enjoy. LOL. I have the busiest life and it never ever ever would work out to where I could just sit for a second and create... so Cheers to 2017! All that aside, I hope that maybe this video will maybe give you some inspiration to those last minute stocking stuffers that will wow the recipients. When I say last minute I mean, last minute. We are open 12-4 tomorrow on Christmas Eve. So don't hesitate to come see me. These items are all under 29.99 and can all be purchased in a quick trip inside instead of fighting the crowd in Conway. As I sit here and grab a quick bite to eat I am just somewhat reflecting on what has happened over the last week here at Southern Savvy... we have been BUSY. Mothers stopping in getting Charles River and sherpa pullovers monogrammed for their daughters for Christmas... Boyfriends checking out our jewelry... Husbands and fathers running in to grab a quick stocking stuffer for their loved ones. Ladies shopping for a quirky gift for their sister... it has been a very rewarding experience helping all of our shoppers find the perfect item. This week hands down is by far the busiest week we have had for Christmas shopping since we have opened. It would not be possible without the help of folks getting the word out about our store, our loyal customers, and our precious employees. We hope that the hard work behind the scenes is noticed not only during the holiday season but throughout the year when you are needing something customized. We hope you shop us first when you need a beautiful outfit for that special event. We hope you continue to shop local and support our small business. Because without you coming in our door we would not be here. Your continued support allows people to shop local! Thank you again for all of those who continue to shop southern and support our store. Ashton Pruitt
Ashton Snowden Pruitt, native of Greenbrier graduated from Arkansas State University in 2009, with her Radio Television Broadcast Journalism degree. She is the former host of "The Mouth of the South Morning Show" on 101.7 KVOM in Morrilton. She is married to auctioneer Lane Pruitt, and also owns Pruitt's Mid State Stockyards in Damascus. Ashton owns Southern Savvy, a women and children's boutique in Greenbrier and Southern Belle Media specializing in wedding and commercial videography, and voice overs. On top of all of these duties, her favorite job is being a mommy to her one and only sweet girl Myleigh-Pearl! In her spare time she loves traveling, blogging, watching Hoda and Kathie Lee, eating "Joes Pizza," driving with the top down in the Jeep, going to the lake, pageants, karaoke, and drinking lots of coffee. Ashton is currently the Miss Greenbrier Pageant Director, Brierfest Youth Talent Show Director and volunteer for the Faulkner County Youth Talent Show and Pageants.
